Sengkang Riverside

It's getting very hot and I can feel the heat is burning my skin. But, nothing can stop me now as I have yet complete my target distance too.

Saw a group of runners heading towards to Punggol.

This guy keeps stopping and shuffling around. I think he is trying to do some stunts and act cool in front of me.

Nice view of the river that connects to the reservoir.

I'm reaching Sengkang Riverside soon!

I wonder is there any fish in there. Couldn't see anything in that guy's bucket. Guess there's no luck for him or he probably should have try other spot.

And here I have reached Sengkang Riverside! Yes, it's 0 meter left.

There is a sport complex over there.

Instead of following the Punggol Park Connector's route, I have turned to the left side.

And towards above the bridge, which will be a big round pathway.

A macro photographer.

That's behind the sport complex. There is a bistro cafe where people usually hangout in the evening time.

Further down the road, there is a another cafe opposite the sport complex. Sometime you will see a lot of kids learning skating around there.

Even the cab driver also bring his bird over there to enjoy the scenery.

Another hardcore runner.

Half round to go!

Reaching sport complex soon!

Just now I was there! Can you spot that area?

Hockey field.

My stomach keep growling when I saw this. Cannot! Must maintain my healthy diet!

Guess where are they heading to?

To the swimming pool! It has water slide and an indoor pool. Once I had jump into the pool without testing the water temperature and immediately jump out. The water is too cold without any sunshine.

There's a 7 Eleven too.

Time for a cold 100 plus. Didn't expect the weather to be so hot and I did not bring my hydration belt.

After hydrating myself, it's time to continue my run. No, not running thru the McDonald.

Everything is so well maintained over there. Thanks to the workers that cleaned the river, road and trimmed the plants to make our park clean and beautiful.

Instead of going back to the same route, I'm heading towards TPE expressway's overhead bridge.

This overhead bridge basically to show the division of Punggol and Sengkang area. Just cross the bridge and I will be back to Punggol.

And I'm back to Punggol within less than 5 minutes.

Currently there are a lot of constructions going on. Soon Punggol will have a shopping centre which is bigger than Compass Point.

At last I can see the Punggol MRT.

How I wish I could have a road bike like theirs. There are many cyclists cycling around Punggol because the road is wide and less traffic.

However, please be careful. If any of you happen to witness this accident, please call the above number.

There are some activities going on in this chinese temple.

The last stretch will be a long straight road.

And finally i'm back home.

Target completed with a satisfying 15.4 km distance. Next run will be a longer distance than this!
